2nd Place Armor Makes The Man Wizard Contestby ~The-Penciler

In 1998, I entered this in Wizard Magazine's "The Armor Makes The Man" contest. I won 2nd place, but the winners were never showcased in the magazine. Back then they did that sometimes and the reader art feature was omitted more often as ads and other fluff overtook the magazine. I was disappointed that the winners weren't featured.

It's really dark #2 pencil and color pencil. This was back before I had software to ink and color my work. I just did everything with physical media and simply scanned it in.

I won a long sleeve shirt and knitted cap from Enyce (clothing designer), a signed copy of Iron Man #1 of whatever volume of the series they were restarting that year, and I think a 4th prize (a certificate long lost), but I don't remember.

I'm thinking of it. I'm redoing a lot of my old stuff. But it's almost like "I already did that, I don't want to do it again." So it's going slow.

Yea that's understandable. I've redone some of my older stuff too and faced the same issue.
